Warranty Spend Project Manager - Powertrain

Responsibilities

• Drive and manage warranty spend reduction workstreams for the Powertrain function
• Identify and lead warranty spend reduction projects and emerging issues
• Attend engine teardown meetings and participate in engine selection to understand failure modes
• Lead Project Steering Teams (PST) and Project Activity Teams (PAT)
• Track manufacturing ICA/PCA/PRA actions to improve quality and reduce spend
• Manage and track the roadmap for Permanent Corrective Actions (PCA) and Cost Per Repair (CPR)
• Support Optimised Service Fix (OSF) processes including remanufacturing and diagnostic procedures
• Identify opportunities for supplier recovery in cooperation with the Supplier Recovery Team
• Manage meeting agendas, minutes, and presentation decks for key project cadences

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in automotive engineering
• Extensive automotive knowledge with specific experience in powertrain
• Experience in collecting and reviewing vehicle data
• Ability to create and analyse business cases
• High level of Excel proficiency
• Proven experience in leading and motivating teams
• Project management expertise within the automotive engineering sector
