Warranty Auditor

Responsibilities

• Audit the Retailer network focusing on warranty claim applications and documentation
• Complete a set number of audits within a given timeframe following manufacturer guidelines
• Create detailed reports on audit findings including recommended actions
• Explain findings to Dealer staff and management and guide them on best practices
• Analyze KPI data to identify dealer weaknesses and strengths
• Maintain customer relations with local Regions and Dealers
• Use IT systems to identify appropriate dealer metrics for improvement

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of audit experience
• Ability to travel a minimum of 5 days per week
• Clean driving record and employment background
• High level of computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word)
• Strong problem-solving and investigative abilities
• Excellent communication and people motivation skills
• Ability to manage own workload, expenses, and travel arrangements
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Client Dealer, Dealer Franchise, or OEM Service/Warranty Management
• Demonstrable automotive audit experience
• 1-2 years of experience with dealer management systems (ADP, R&R, CDK, etc.)
• Knowledge of warranty support material such as recalls, campaigns, and technical service bulletins
• General technical understanding of vehicle repairs
