About the role

Responsibilities

  • Unload trucks and process receipts into the ERP system, verifying quantities and specifications against purchase orders.
  • Stock and store materials in designated warehouse areas.
  • Utilize computers, scanners, and parts lists to manage inventory and shop orders.
  • Perform daily product counts and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Load and secure products for shipment by packing, wrapping, boxing, or crating.
  • Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport material to storage areas.
  • Perform daily inspections of material handling equipment and maintain vehicle fluids.
  • Adhere to all prescribed safety regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Forklift Operation Certification.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and comprehending English.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with industrial crating.
