Warehouse Yard Dog Operator

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts using Basiloid attachments to move products
• Operate yard dogs to move trailers and position them at docks
• Utilize scanners to transfer units from storage to shipments
• Operate Track-mobile equipment to move, open, and close railcar doors
• Work with operations leaders to prioritize tasks and meet critical deadlines
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow all safety and material handling policies
• Rotate among various warehouse processes and departmental tasks as needed

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience operating a forklift and yard dog, preferably in high-volume manufacturing
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks in various temperature conditions
• Ability to work weekends or extended hours as required
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Ability to obtain and maintain Fork Truck and Yard Dog certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• CDL license with truck driving experience
