Warehouse Worker II

Responsibilities

• Pull merchandise from storage locations using hand-held radio frequency devices or voice recognition systems
• Receive, pick, package, and load merchandise for shipment using boxes or pallets
• Operate powered material handling equipment including pallet jacks, standup lifts, turret trucks, and forklifts
• Replenish inventory stock and perform inventory counting activities to ensure accuracy against records
• Unload incoming shipments and load outgoing trucks
• Arrange and stage merchandise in storage locations to maintain optimal inventory levels
• Ensure correct and complete labels are attached to all processed orders

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Basic math proficiency
• Ability to repetitively lift and/or move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds
• Forklift certification or the ability to become certified
• Ability to pass required certification to operate powered material handling equipment
