Warehouse Worker

Responsibilities

• Assist in the loading and unloading of deliveries using appropriate equipment or manual handling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Accurately log inventory in and out of the system and perform periodic inventory checks.
• Package, label, and prepare items for outbound shipment, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
• Move and organize stock using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other machinery in adherence to safety regulations.
• Inspect equipment regularly for damage and report issues to management.
• Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to schedule deliveries and pickups.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including wearing correct protective equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a warehouse worker or in a similar position.
• Experience with forklift operation.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects and operate warehouse machinery.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Reliability and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
