Warehouse Training Specialist

Responsibilities

• Identify training needs by evaluating employee strengths and weaknesses in warehouse operations
• Develop specialized training programs for equipment, processes, and career path progression
• Collaborate with leadership to create work instructions, job aids, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Operate and train staff on all warehouse industrial vehicles and automated equipment
• Review and refine training documentation to ensure relevance to current departmental tasks
• Build strategic cross-training plans in accordance with warehouse leadership guidance
• Provide backup Warehouse Lead support and fill in for other warehouse positions as needed

Requirements

• Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Knowledge of warehouse process controls and the ability to assess compliance
• Strong decision-making and organizational skills
• Ability to present complex information to individuals with varying skill levels
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work collaboratively with production, engineering, and EHS teams

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or 4-year degree or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience in the creation and implementation of training programs
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices, ergonomics, and safety standards
• Experience using MasterControl
