About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify training needs by evaluating employee strengths and weaknesses in warehouse operations
- Develop specialized training programs for equipment, processes, and career path progression
- Collaborate with leadership to create work instructions, job aids, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Operate and train staff on all warehouse industrial vehicles and automated equipment
- Review and refine training documentation to ensure relevance to current departmental tasks
- Build strategic cross-training plans in accordance with warehouse leadership guidance
- Provide backup Warehouse Lead support and fill in for other warehouse positions as needed
Requirements
- Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Knowledge of warehouse process controls and the ability to assess compliance
- Strong decision-making and organizational skills
- Ability to present complex information to individuals with varying skill levels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work collaboratively with production, engineering, and EHS teams
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 or 4-year degree or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience in the creation and implementation of training programs
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices, ergonomics, and safety standards
- Experience using MasterControl
