Warehouse Trainer

Responsibilities

• Lead distribution center onboarding, training, and safety committee activities
• Conduct structured new hire orientations and facilitate team introductions
• Provide ongoing training and guidance to new and less experienced employees on best practices and established procedures
• Deliver hands-on PIT equipment training using the “See, Show, Train” methodology
• Train employees on standard workplace procedures including picking, packing, inventory control, and freight loading
• Track training attendance and maintain signed compliance documentation for all new hires
• Lead and support the building's safety committee
• Provide operational support by assisting with warehouse tasks during non-training periods

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in a logistics or supply chain support role
• Proven proficiency in inventory control, material handling, and shipment coordination
• Experience with distribution center training processes and related documentation
• Ability to complete a "Train the Trainer" course upon hire to become a certified PIT trainer
• Ability to be certified on PIT equipment including Order Picker, Dock Stocker, Electric Pallet Jack, Stock Chaser, and Reach Truck

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with WMS systems for logistics management
• Experience in a lead or senior support role within a manufacturing or distribution setting
• Specialized knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes
• Strong mentoring and peer guidance capabilities
