Warehouse Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare packaging for outgoing shipments of pulp samples and rejects
• Sort, locate, and retrieve samples from the warehouse facility using a forklift
• Perform accurate data entry and inventory control for sample rejects, pulps, pallets, and bins
• Assist with inventory control, storage, disposal, and timely returns to clients
• Act as the primary driver for local deliveries and pick-ups, maintaining vehicle inspection logs
• Provide inventory counts to facilitate client invoicing
• Execute general shipping, receiving, and supplies warehousing functions
• Comply with all established safety regulations and ALS health and safety policies

Requirements

• Experience in warehouse, shipping, and receiving environments
• Valid Provincial Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving history
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and standing for full shifts
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to work various shifts including days, afternoons, graveyards, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma
• Forklift license and previous experience operating a forklift
