Warehouse Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch
• Enforce safe systems of work and ensure all employees use appropriate personal protective equipment
• Manage warehouse employees involved in shipping, receiving, inventory, and distribution
• Ensure resources and personnel are allocated effectively to meet operational demand
• Monitor operational efficiency, accuracy, and maintain precise data entry for incoming and outgoing materials
• Investigate safety and environmental incidents and implement necessary countermeasures
• Develop and communicate recommendations for improvements to plant, equipment, and working practices

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience and/or relevant leadership qualifications
• Educated to Secondary or High School standard
• Mandatory Fork Lift Truck certification
• Advanced PC skills for data entry and operational monitoring
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, and negotiating skills
• Ability to analyze data and drive continuous improvement
