Warehouse Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate the shift team to achieve productivity and service KPIs
• Uphold high levels of Health, Safety, and Hygiene standards
• Ensure quality and compliance checks are carried out to audit standards
• Deliver communication briefings to the shift team
• Manage Goods Inwards area to ensure efficient receipt of stock
• Develop team members and support succession planning
• Conduct disciplinary, grievance, and return-to-work interviews
• Monitor sickness absence, time, and attendance systems
• Manage overtime and agency worker levels effectively
• Enforce company policies and monitor team training requirements

Requirements

• Computer literacy with knowledge of Excel
• Confidence in dealing with people at all levels
• Adaptable and methodical approach to work and training
• Conscientious and reliable nature
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Strong workload prioritization skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
