Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and monitor daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, loading, and shipping
• Manage employee performance through motivation, delegation, mentoring, and conflict resolution
• Conduct regular pre-shift meetings to communicate policy changes, address concerns, and foster engagement
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and safety while reducing costs
• Enforce all company policies, including safety, housekeeping, and regulatory compliance
• Maintain essential reports and logs, such as productivity reports, end-of-shift walkthroughs, and safety toolbox talks
• Coordinate with the safety department to conduct accident investigations and routine safety inspections
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards

Requirements

• 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience in a distribution or re-distribution center environment
• Experience operating handheld radio frequency (RF) units
• Knowledge of powered industrial trucks (PIT)
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 200 pounds with assistance
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with WMS (HighJump/PeopleSoft)
• Experience with voice recognition technology
