Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day shipping tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion of outbound activities
• Plan and monitor outbound shipping schedules, including order packing and freight loading
• Manage department budget performance by controlling labor, wages, and supplies
• Oversee employee relations, including scheduling, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
• Ensure regulatory compliance with DOT, FAA, EPA, and OSHA standards
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing company safety and ergonomic policies
• Conduct regular departmental meetings to promote teamwork and effective communication across shifts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in general warehousing and distribution
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Thorough knowledge of standard industrial receiving procedures and paperwork processing
• Ability to perform basic lifting and physical tasks required for warehouse functions
