Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day shipping tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion of outbound activities, including order packing and freight loading.
• Manage the shipping department's operational and financial aspects, including budget performance and labor cost control.
• Plan and monitor outbound shipping schedules and coordinate the movement of beauty products, supplies, and transfers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with DOT, FAA, EPA, and OSHA standards, as well as ICC rules and policies.
• Oversee employee relations, including scheduling, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing company safety, ergonomic, and hazardous material training programs.
• Conduct regular departmental meetings to promote teamwork and effective communication across shifts and departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in general warehousing and distribution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Thorough knowledge of standard industrial procedures for receiving material and processing related paperwork.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical lifting and system tasks required for all warehouse functions, including picking, packing, and shipping.
