About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead warehouse operations and provide general supervision of all functional processes
- Maintain a properly staffed, trained, and engaged team of warehouse associates
- Drive key performance indicators for cost savings, customer service, and safety
- Ensure production lines are supplied in a timely manner without disruptions
- Manage SAP transactions, inventory levels, and material movement
- Supervise loading/unloading of trucks and maintain accurate records and bill of ladings
- Coordinate accident investigations and enforce safety, quality, and GMP policies
- Train new associates on equipment, stock rotation, and SAP processes
- Facilitate communication between departments and provide daily end-of-day reports
Requirements
- 2-3 years of leadership experience, preferably in high-volume warehousing
- Experience in an FDA-regulated environment (SQF or AIB audits preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift and move up to 50-75 pounds
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Food industry
- 5S or Lean manufacturing experience
- Substantial supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
