Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and control activities related to truck loading/unloading, receiving, pallet preparation, and inventory control
• Ensure employee health and safety by executing workplace safety programs and maintaining a secure environment
• Apply company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with collective agreements
• Empower employees to meet established goals regarding quality, productivity, and cost reduction
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and propose solutions using management system methodologies to hit KPIs
• Coordinate warehouse operations and support activities for other departments

Requirements

• Proven experience managing warehouse operations in a high-volume environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (asset)
• Experience managing employees in a unionized environment (asset)
• Bilingualism (English) is an asset
