About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop hourly warehouse employees using a servant leadership approach
- Apply Lean and Kaizen principles to drive continuous improvement in workflow and space utilization
- Implement and sustain standard work, visual controls, and 5S practices to improve efficiency
- Ensure timely receipt, put-away, and shipment of parts in line with production and customer schedules
- Drive performance improvement KPIs and audit processes to ensure safety, inventory accuracy, and service levels
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, and quality teams
- Support and manage a union or represented workforce professionally and consistently
- Maintain documentation demonstrating compliance with company procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of Supply Chain, Logistics, or Distribution experience OR
- Master's degree with 1+ year of Supply Chain, Logistics, or Distribution experience OR
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Distribution/Warehouse
- Legal authorization to work in the US on an unrestricted basis
- Ability to work variable shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior warehouse supervisory experience
- Experience working with represented or unionized workforces
- Proven success in Lean, Kaizen, or continuous improvement environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with change management and performance coaching
