Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse workers engaged in receiving, transporting, stocking, order filling, and shipping
• Maintain product rotation in accordance with First In-First Out (FIFO) principles
• Ensure all food service orders are verified by product and sent with correct dates per customer specifications
• Monitor workers to ensure case movement requirements are met and manage late delivery procedures
• Maintain labor costs per pound and minimize spoils and damages
• Conduct accurate inventories by code and perform safety and sanitation audits
• Ensure warehouse personnel are trained in compliance with OSHA, AIB, and GMP standards
• Participate in safety, quality, and food safety committees and conduct monthly training sessions
• Maintain continuous communication with production and maintenance supervisors

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations
• 2 years of supervisory experience or 4 years as a Lead in a manufacturing environment
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Ability to lift, pull, and push at least 50 lbs
• Ability to walk long distances and stand for long periods in various environments (dusty, noisy, hot, or cold)
• Knowledge of GMP, OSHA, and AIB standards
• Experience with dispatch truck deadlines in a food service department

• College Degree
• Experience within a food manufacturing environment
