Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train the warehouse team to ensure safe and efficient execution of all warehouse functions
• Ensure all material is received and stored safely and economically, ensuring all required documentation is completed
• Supervise the routing, loading, and proper preparation of orders for shipping, delivery, and pickup
• Verify and maintain up-to-date driver records and forklift certifications
• Supervise and plan maintenance for all delivery vehicles and material handling equipment
• Recommend the purchase of new warehouse equipment while ensuring safety standards are met
• Protect and maintain profit center assets including buildings, fleet, inventory, and equipment
• Resolve delivery and receiving complaints quickly and effectively

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; college or university degree is an asset
• Minimum of one year of experience in warehouse management and team supervision
• Minimum of two years of experience in material handling
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong work ethic and high level of integrity
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Intermediate mathematics skills
