Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, and shipping to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Lead, train, and coach a team of hourly associates to achieve performance, safety, and quality goals
• Prioritize and assign work to maintain workflow continuity and meet departmental performance targets
• Oversee the effective use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF devices to ensure accurate inventory control
• Enforce all company and OSHA safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety through regular inspections and training
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and timekeeping to ensure adequate operational coverage
• Evaluate warehouse processes and recommend improvements to optimize space utilization and reduce costs
• Serve as the primary contact for special projects such as prepacks, rollouts, and large-scale customer orders

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in a distribution center environment
• Proven leadership ability to motivate and develop teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of warehouse safety, logistics, and inventory control best practices
• Ability to work a night shift schedule (Sunday - Thursday, 6:00pm - 3:00am CST)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or Business
• Working knowledge of SAP and RF/Voice Technology
• Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) and OSHA certifications
