About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound, storage, inventory control, and outbound logistics
- Lead and develop warehouse personnel through scheduling, training, and performance management
- Ensure safe handling and storage of raw materials and finished products in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Oversee inventory accuracy via cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and system controls
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams to support uninterrupted plant operations
- Optimize warehouse layout, material flow, and storage utilization to improve efficiency
- Manage and maintain WMS and WCS platforms to ensure accurate inventory tracking
- Monitor KPIs related to productivity, inventory accuracy, and safety
- Support the implementation of lean logistics and continuous improvement projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or vocational qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse or logistics management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS)
- Proven leadership experience managing warehouse teams and operational performance
- Proficiency in both Finnish and English
- Strong understanding of inventory management and material handling operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in chemicals, battery materials, mining, or heavy industry environments
- Familiarity with ERP systems and digital warehouse tools
- Experience with lean logistics methodologies
