Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and control daily shipping operational activities (picking, assembly/packaging, and loading)
• Manage warehouse areas to ensure order priorities are met
• Participate in maintaining and improving operational processes for handling, labeling, and packaging
• Prepare and participate in annual inventory in collaboration with employees
• Organize daily meetings with team leaders to ensure smooth operations
• Conduct shift start meetings (DMS) with employees
• Support the floor team by participating in manual handling tasks when necessary
• Plan labor needs and provide continuous training to staff
• Assign tasks to employees to ensure objectives are met
• Monitor performance and productivity throughout the year
• Verify and approve employee timesheets and manage absence requests
• Manage personnel discipline and follow up with HR
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety rules

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a team lead or supervisor role
• Strong business sense focused on efficiency and productivity
• Interest in coaching and team development
• Ability to delegate and lead/inspire teams
• Adaptability in understanding and improving operational processes
• Strong planning, organizing, and prioritization skills
• Bilingualism (intermediate French/English) required
• Experience with ERP, computerized inventory systems, and Microsoft Office suite
