Warehouse Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inspecting, and storing materials and heavy equipment.
• Perform SAP-based transactional activities to ensure data integrity and accurate inventory updates.
• Conduct regular cycle counting and physical inventory processes to manage stock levels in the central warehouse and pipe yard.
• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to reposition and load/unload materials.
• Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance groups to optimize order fulfillment rates.
• Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate with third-party logistics providers.
• Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to assist with after-hours critical material requests.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in warehouse management.
• Proficiency with SAP or an equivalent MRP inventory system.
• Valid forklift certification and experience operating heavy equipment (up to 15,000 lbs).
• Ability to reside within 45 minutes of the facility to respond to after-hours requests.

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or a Supply Chain Management designation.
• Previous experience within the oil and gas or pipeline industry.
