Warehouse Specialist

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics planning, transportation coordination, and warehouse material flow
• Coordinate inbound receiving, outbound shipping, and cross-site shipping/receiving activities
• Create, manage, and troubleshoot deliveries, shipments, and billing in SAP
• Schedule carriers and freight across trucklines while resolving freight and documentation issues
• Support purchasing, inventory, customer service, traffic, and accounts payable with issue resolution and workflow accuracy
• Maintain logistics records, spreadsheets, and communication tools
• Assist with warehouse supplies, vendor coordination, invoice review, and PO creation
• Participate in daily operations meetings and support training, onboarding, and cross-functional logistics tasks

Requirements

• Knowledge of logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations
• Experience with carrier scheduling and material flow systems
• Proficiency with SAP
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and cross-department coordination skills
• Lift truck certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting cross-functional teams in purchasing, inventory, AP, production, or customer service
• Experience mentoring team members or assisting with SAP and logistics training
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot freight, inventory, and workflow issues
