Warehouse Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process inbound and outbound shipments in compliance with customer SOPs and regulatory guidelines
• Load, unload, sort, and stage cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Verify shipment accuracy against documentation such as BOLs and packing lists
• Apply labeling, scanning, and documentation procedures to support inventory accuracy
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization in accordance with safety and 5S standards
• Conduct routine safety inspections on equipment and assist in physical inventory counts
• Coordinate with customer service and transportation teams to meet service commitments

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2–3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Forklift certification or the ability to become certified
• Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with scanning devices and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of air and ocean freight documentation and handling practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with import/export freight and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Familiarity with handling various commodities, including palletized, crated, and loose freight
