Warehouse Specialist Ammo

Responsibilities

• Issue, store, inventory, and perform location maintenance for ammunition and residue
• Ensure all stored ammunition items are sealed to prevent pilferage
• Conduct 100% location surveys and 100% inventories
• Comply with all published policies, procedures, and regulatory guidance for ammunition handling
• Maintain and update magazine data cards, ammunition store slips, and storage plan-o-graphs
• Load and offload vehicles and operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) up to 10K
• Perform general housekeeping and maintenance for the Ammunition Storage Point (ASP)
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP) and Quality Assurance (QA) programs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of warehouse experience, preferably with ammunition or hazardous materials
• Proven ammunition handling experience (military or civilian equivalent)
• Ability to pass or currently hold DOD Ammo-45 and DOD Ammo-67 training
• Ability to obtain MHE licenses and certifications
• Valid and current state driver's license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without accommodation
• Ability to work in various outdoor climatic conditions and strenuous environments
