Warehouse Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform warehousing duties including inventory management, material verification, and storage planning
• Verify merchandise against receiving documents and report any discrepancies or damages
• Rearrange, stack, or palletize materials according to prescribed storage methods
• Operate hand or power trucks and other material handling equipment
• Maintain tools, equipment, and government-furnished property
• Pick up, transport, and deliver parts and equipment to predetermined destinations, which may include overnight travel
• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials during transport

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship
• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent training/experience)
• 6-12 months of related warehousing experience or training
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a general-purpose vehicle
• Ability to pass customer clearance
• Ability to lift 20-60 pounds and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, standing, and walking
