Warehouse Shipping Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing domestic and overseas shipments to meet customer, carrier, and company specifications
• Process required paperwork and data processing for all shipments
• Perform accurate cycle counts of packaged products using RF scanners
• Consolidate downloads and build skids for cost-effective routing
• Manage Bills of Lading, re-label shipment addresses, and initiate pool points
• Request and attach necessary certification papers to shipments
• Enter shipping information and instructions for air freight
• Perform daily system and paperwork updates to meet carrier pickup schedules
• Maintain inventory control by ensuring proper relocation of parts and following FIFO protocols

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong numerical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literacy and ability to access data via computer
• Ability to obtain a forklift license
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience
• Keyboarding ability
• Personal computer knowledge
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems
