About the role
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately
- Receive, verify, and put away incoming vendor material and customer returns
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and material handling equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and bin locating
- Document shipping discrepancies and initiate freight claims
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and adhere to Health and Safety regulations
- Assist teammates with customer service at the counter
Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
- Ability to operate a forklift and material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and intermediate math skills
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of plumbing and building products
- Experience with Trend, Eclipse, Word, Excel, or Outlook
