Warehouse Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Assist the Shift Manager in the day-to-day running of the operation
• Schedule and supervise the activities and functions of warehouse staff
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Maintain records of team performance against plans
• Assist in the organization of training and development for warehouse staff
• Provide regular feedback on team and individual performance
• Manage planned and unplanned absence to ensure operational cover
• Participate in the management team to improve efficiency and quality focus

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role
• Knowledge of Health and Safety within warehouse operations
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• PC literacy in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong leadership, delegation, and motivation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills
