About the role
Responsibilities
- Support Shift Managers in day-to-day warehouse operations
- Schedule and supervise warehouse staff activities
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Coordinate accident and incident investigations
- Maintain records of team performance and operational disruptions
- Assist in training, development, and on-the-job coaching for staff
- Provide regular performance feedback to team members
- Manage planned and unplanned absences to ensure operational cover
- Participate in management meetings to improve efficiency and quality
Requirements
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative and as a team player
- In-depth knowledge of on-site systems
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong leadership, delegation, and motivation skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of SAP, PKMS, or Road Runner is useful
- Knowledge of WMS Autostore is useful
