Warehouse Production Planner

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage warehouse workflow using the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Strategically release pick lists based on customer shipment schedules to optimize fulfillment
• Evaluate operational data and forecasts to develop efficient work plans for all warehouse departments
• Collaborate with Inbound, Picking, Packing, and Outbound teams to ensure material availability and staging
• Monitor performance, maintain detailed reports of procedural deviations, and review them with Supervisors
• Utilize problem-solving methodologies to address process bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement
• Adhere to 6S principles to maintain an organized and safe working environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Proven experience in production planning, dispatch, or a similar warehouse/manufacturing role
• Intermediate experience with Blue Yonder WMS or a similar Warehouse Management System
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, and Teams
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional departments
• Knowledge of 6S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a warehouse environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical/Vocational education or an Associate degree
