Warehouse Person (Loader)

Responsibilities

• Hand build pallets of product for bulk, route, and transport trucks
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks using a forklift or electronic pallet jack
• Maintain strict attention to order accuracy using electronic order systems or manual sheets
• Ensure pallet stability through proper stacking and shrink-wrapping
• Unload raw materials and place them in designated warehouse spaces
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Complete paperwork and stage loads for shipment

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift 20-45 pounds repeatedly throughout a long work period
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, squat, reach, and grasp constantly

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or order selection environment
• Experience operating a forklift or powered pallet jack
• Experience working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
