Warehouse Person (Loader)

Responsibilities

• Hand build pallets of product for bulk and route trucks using electronic order systems or order sheets
• Drive power pallet jacks or forklifts to picking areas to build loads
• Maintain pallet stability through proper stacking and shrink-wrapping
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks, including raw materials and returned products
• Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items and complete necessary paperwork
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following housekeeping standards

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift 20-45 pounds repeatedly throughout a long work period
• Ability to perform constant physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping
• Ability to operate a power pallet jack or forklift

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment (order selecting, product staging, etc.)
• Experience operating a forklift, including maneuvering in tight areas and lifting/lowering loads
• Experience working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets
• Experience working effectively in a team environment
