Warehouse Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks related to the receipt, shipment, and storage of materials at the Rexdale facility.
• Operate hand trucks, counterbalance forklifts, and walkie stackers to move raw materials and finished goods.
• Supply materials to production lines and operate equipment such as palletizers, depalletizers, and wrappers.
• Maintain necessary files and documentation related to shipments using basic computer skills.
• Follow FIFO inventory rotation, Allergen Storage Regulations, and all safety, health, and environment regulations.
• Execute shipping activities including loading trailers and verifying product quality against documents.
• Execute receiving activities including unloading goods, checking bills of lading, and verifying rejects or damaged goods.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in reading and comprehending written specifications in English.
• Minimum of 6 months of warehouse experience, including inbound/outbound dispatching and inventory management.
• Valid "D" Driver's License.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and work in environments with varying temperatures.
• Open availability for all shift assignments.
