Warehouse Operator

Responsibilities

• Catalogue, record, and organize materials received at the warehouse
• Fulfill customer orders by reading production schedules, order forms, and requisitions
• Locate and gather products to distribute to production workers, assembly lines, or shipping areas
• Assemble, build, wrap, sort, and transport customer orders
• Operate machinery including hand trucks, carts, forklifts, order-pickers, and walkies to transport items
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements

• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, reaching, and pushing
• Ability to stand for 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week
• Basic keypunch skills
• High sense of urgency and flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training
