Warehouse Operator IV

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of warehouse equipment to ensure accurate, damage-free movement of products from the shipping dock to trailers.
• Use RF systems to follow designated directions for accurate product selection and movement.
• Load various trailer sizes, including maneuvering single or double-stacked pallets using pinwheel or side-to-side methods.
• Apply proper order packing slips to pallets in accordance with customer compliance guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, packing slips, and pallets loaded on each trailer.
• Verify wave numbers, pallet numbers, and carrier designations against load manifests.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment, including restrooms, break rooms, and equipment.
• Adhere to all warehouse SOPs and safety protocols to promote a safe working environment.
• Assist in the training of new employees.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to read, count, write, and perform simple math calculations.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and get on/off equipment repeatedly throughout a shift.
• Ability to perform moderate physical effort and use manual dexterity.
• Willingness to adhere to all company policies, safety rules, and local/state/federal regulations (OSHA, DOT, EEOC).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bi-lingual communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience with Hazardous Material handling.
• Ability to create or modify SOPs for process and quality improvements.
• Availability to work overtime, various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
