Warehouse Operator II

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are shipped out of the distribution center in a timely and effective manner
• Stack pallets appropriately, ensuring they are straight, heavy at the bottom, and labels are facing out
• Lift product and place items onto pallets
• Use material handling equipment to safely move product from lanes to ship prep stations, staging areas, or outgoing trucks
• Process, wrap, and label pallets at the ship prep station
• Move items to correct locations if they are sent down the wrong chute or cannot be read by the scanner
• Manage UPS labeling area processes, including loading loose items and handling special orders

Requirements

• Previous work experience in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
• Experience operating a high-reach, stand-up forklift
• Ability to stand and be on your feet for 8+ hours a day
• Ability to lift and move product up to 40 pounds
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Availability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures
