Warehouse Operator

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate staffing assignments to meet daily production goals
• Solve logistics and material movement issues through root cause analysis and immediate action
• Ensure accurate and efficient material and production flow to meet established schedules
• Monitor and report on backlogs using Manufacturing Information Systems (MIS), MATRIX, or databases
• Create and monitor Serena cases and utilize SAP for issue resolution and material tracking
• Compile area metrics and performance reports for manufacturing management
• Provide training and mentorship to less experienced employees on area procedures
• Expedite material returns and reconciliation on a daily basis

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
• High School diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
• Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to resolve production issues
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for interacting with all levels of management
• Ability to maintain professional relationships and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to pass a security investigation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or Serena issue tracking software
• Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
