Warehouse Operator

Responsibilities

• Safely receive, unload, and prepare liquid and dry chemical products from trucks, tankers, and railcars
• Operate powered and manual industrial lift trucks, including forklifts, to transport materials
• Repackage products into cylinders, drums, totes, or pails and ensure proper labeling and storage
• Perform product sampling and quality control in coordination with lab personnel
• Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs and inventory records using computer programs
• Inspect tanks and transport vehicles before and after loading/unloading operations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including immediate spill response
• Assist with physical inventory counts and rearrange stored materials as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience
• Ability to obtain Forklift Operator certification and demonstrate safe operation
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, including bags, pails, boxes, and pallets
• Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and English literacy
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods (up to 95% of the day) and climb ladders/stairs
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and E-verify

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior experience in chemical operations
