Warehouse Operator

Responsibilities

• Safely receive, unload, and prepare liquid and dry chemical products from trucks, tankers, and railcars
• Operate powered and manual industrial lift trucks, including forklifts, to transport products and raw materials
• Perform physical tasks such as maneuvering transfer hoses, climbing tanks/railcars, and picking/staging products
• Repackage products into cylinders, drums, totes, or pails, ensuring proper labeling and regulatory compliance
• Maintain accurate inventory records, shipping/receiving logs, and perform physical inventory counts
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and safety, including immediate reporting and cleanup of spills
• Assist with product sampling, quality control, and mixing or blending as required

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience
• Ability to obtain Forklift Operator certification and demonstrate safe operation
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, including bags, pails, boxes, and pallets
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and English literacy for reading instructions and writing correspondence
• Ability to work flexible shifts (8-12 hours), including weekends and overtime as needed
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods (up to 95% of the day) and work in various weather conditions
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and E-verify
