About the role
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and prepare liquid and dry chemical products from trucks, tankers, and railcars
- Operate forklifts and other industrial lift trucks to transport products and raw materials
- Repackage products into cylinders, drums, totes, or pails, ensuring proper labeling and storage
- Perform product sampling and quality control in coordination with lab personnel
- Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs and inventory records using computer programs
- Inspect tanks and transport vehicles before and after loading/unloading operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, including immediate spill reporting and cleanup
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or US military experience
- Ability to obtain Forklift Operator certification and demonstrate safe operation
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, including bags, pails, boxes, and pallets
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and English literacy
- Ability to operate technology-based devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods (up to 95% of the day) and climb ladders or tanks
- Availability to work various shifts, including overtime or weekends as needed
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and E-verify
