Warehouse Operator

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload liquid and dry chemical products from trucks, tankers, and railcars
• Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment to transport materials and maintain warehouse organization
• Repackage products into appropriate containers, ensuring correct labeling and storage compliance
• Perform product sampling and quality control in coordination with laboratory personnel
• Maintain accurate inventory records, shipping/receiving logs, and daily equipment checklists
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and safety, including immediate reporting and cleanup of spills
• Assist with physical inventory counts and rearrange stored materials as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience
• Ability to obtain Forklift Operator certification and demonstrate safe operation
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy materials and stand/walk for long periods (up to 95% of shift)
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders to access the tops of tanks and railcars
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and English literacy
• Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts, including potential overtime, weekends, and varying days of the week
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and E-verify

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior experience working in chemical operations
