About the role

Responsibilities

  • Safely receive, unload, and prepare liquid and dry chemical products from trucks, tankers, and railcars
  • Operate powered and manual industrial lift trucks, including forklifts, to transport materials
  • Repackage products into cylinders, drums, totes, or pails and ensure proper labeling and storage
  • Maintain accurate receiving and shipping logs using computer programs and technology-based devices
  • Perform product sampling and quality control in coordination with lab personnel
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and report any product deterioration or damage
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and accessible warehouse environment, including immediate spill reporting and cleanup

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or US military experience
  • Ability to obtain Forklift Operator certification and demonstrate safe operation
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, including bags, pails, boxes, and pallets
  • Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and English literacy
  • Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods and climb ladders or stairs to access tanks and railcars
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and E-verify

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of prior experience working in chemical operations
