Warehouse Operative

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick items in the warehouse using pick lists, understanding shelf locations, lot numbers, and quantities
• Pack, check, and dispatch goods via ship manager and Script easy systems
• Ensure all orders are dispatched within daily time parameters
• Enter received orders into the system and distribute them to correct warehouse locations
• Maintain warehouse stock levels and ensure top-up processes are followed to reduce stock outs
• Maintain stores to the highest standards in line with Health & Safety requirements
• Assist with quality checking of picked orders
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment using a "clean as you go" process

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with picking and packing duties
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Knowledge of courier and postal services
• Physical ability to lift heavy boxes and containers
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
