Warehouse Operations Trainer

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured training programs covering inbound receiving, put away, picking, packing, shipping, VAS tasks, and inventory control
• Execute hands-on-floor training including WMS/RF scanning and material handling equipment guidance
• Demonstrate full end-to-end warehouse workflows from receipt to shipment
• Verify employee competency through skills assessments, productivity tracking, and quality audits
• Validate sustained performance through follow-up evaluations and 30/60/90-day reviews
• Maintain training documentation, certification records, and SOP updates
• Support new hire onboarding, cross-training, refresher training, and new process rollouts
• Reinforce safety standards and operational compliance at all times

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of warehouse operations experience (Inbound, Outbound, Picking, Inventory)
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners
• Experience operating material handling equipment
• Knowledge of safety standards and operational compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Supply Chain or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a training, coaching, or leadership role
• Forklift certification
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
• Ability to analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
