Warehouse Operations Technician

Responsibilities

• Administer employee files in Kronos including profiles, timecards, and vacations
• Manage seniority lists and collective agreement data
• Coordinate absences, sick leave, group insurance, and CNESST files
• Act as a resource for labor relations administrative follow-ups
• Monitor workplace accidents and health and safety prevention measures
• Coordinate the annual training plan and mandatory training follow-ups
• Support supervision teams in daily operations and provide interim supervision
• Participate in work assignment and priority coordination for unionized staff
• Use ERP to track goods flow and identify operational issues
• Compile and analyze KPIs for management
• Validate invoice compliance, delivery notes, and expense reports
• Support procurement activities and product creation in systems
• Act as a primary contact for suppliers, clients, and external partners
• Coordinate building maintenance, repairs, and regulatory inspections
• Manage snow removal and de-icing operations during winter

Requirements

• DEC or University degree in administration, management, HR, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Experience in a unionized environment
• Ability to work in both office and field operation settings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Knowledge of Kronos is an asset
• Ability to learn new IT systems and ERPs
• Strong leadership, judgment, and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
