Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement shipping and receiving work schedules to ensure efficient operations and meet daily production goals
• Provide direct supervision to warehouse personnel, matching skills to specific tasks and managing labor levels
• Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and timely execution
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to discuss productivity, operational challenges, and workload forecasting
• Manage employee relations, including coaching, performance reviews, training, and onboarding
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment by supporting OSHA compliance and safety programs
• Monitor equipment utilization and coordinate maintenance with management
• Draft and submit daily end-of-shift reports and recommend operational improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field OR 1-5 years of supervisory experience
• High School Diploma required
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan preferred)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, and FDA regulations
• Ability to stand and walk for 10-12 hours and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish skills
• Experience with seasonal workforces
• Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or Lean/Six Sigma tools
