Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shipping, receiving, and order processing activities within the distribution center
• Maintain a visible presence on the floor to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met
• Manage and coach a team of up to 50 employees, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Forecast staffing needs and manage administrative tasks such as timecard and vacation approvals
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance departmental efficiency
• Enforce safety programs and ensure strict compliance with all safety guidelines and procedures
• Analyze operational data to inform decision-making and execute action plans

Requirements

• Experience managing teams of 30 or more employees
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), such as Manhattan or Oracle
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence peers and leaders
• Ability to stand, walk, and move frequently in a warehouse environment
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 1-3 years of relevant industry experience
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
• Previous experience in manufacturing or high-volume distribution environments
