Warehouse Operations Manager II

Responsibilities

• Own and manage all functions related to shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling
• Develop and enforce procedures for incoming inspection, warehouse organization, and outbound logistics
• Ensure compliance with export regulations (ITAR / EAR), aerospace quality standards (AS9100), and internal traceability
• Work with Program Managers and Manufacturing to support build schedules and MRP
• Maintain accurate inventory records through ERP/WMS systems and perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with suppliers and freight forwarders to optimize cost and reliability
• Implement scalable systems and lean practices to support growth
• Lead a team of warehouse technicians and material handlers
• Manage the logistics of sensitive or classified materials

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in logistics, inventory control, or warehouse operations
• 3+ years in a leadership role
• Experience in Aerospace, Defense, or high-reliability manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ITAR, DFARS, and export compliance
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, DELTEK)
• Ability to manage and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience scaling warehouse operations in a startup environment
• Certifications such as APICS CPIM/CSCP, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma
• Familiarity with government contracting and FAR/DFARS compliance
